This small group will gather for five weeks of faith-focused discussions while enjoying some of Vancouver's finest microbrews. The groups kicks off with "Did God Kill Jesus". The book is available for $20 purchase at the church office.
Together we explore 1st Corinthians 11:23-26, account of the Last Supper and John 13:1-17, 31b-35, a new commandment to love one another.
Guest Preacher Rev. Brian Thorpe will guide our deep contemplation of Psalm 22, My God, why have you foresaken me? and John 18:1 - 19:42, Jesus' arrest and crucifixion.
We invite you to pause the busy-ness of life to join with us in reflection and be replenished through Spirit, friendship, fellowship and song. You'll find our welcome warm and our coffee hot. Worship begins at 10 am and a coffee hour follows.
To celebrate the end of Lent and the start of Easter season we're having another Young Adult pub night! Come by Luke's Corner Bar for a drink and a chance to socialize with other SHUC young adults. Hope to see you there!
