CALLING FOR 3 VOLUNTEERS!
SHUC Community of Faith – Lay Representatives to Pacific Mountain Region Annual General Meeting
Every year at our SHUC AGM, we have the opportunity to elect 3 individuals to attend the PMR Annual General Meeting. While these representatives are sent by us, to participate, they do not have to “represent” the opinions or desires of SHUC, nor are they expected to work on bringing the PMR decisions to SHUC. Instead, we are reminded:
A wide variety of people voices, identities, ages, life experiences and cultures contributes immeasurably to our discernment together. Seek to elect diverse representation that reflects your community of faith, who are engaged in the life and work of the Church.” (The Manual: C.1.2-C.1.2b)
They, along with Ministry Personnel and all orders of ministry active and retired, and those appointed by Regional Council discuss and deliberate on the issues of the moment, and the way forward for the year.
DATES: Thursday May 30, 3pm – Sunday June 2, 12:30pm
LOCATION: St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church, Vancouver

This year, you don’t need to travel!
This is open to anyone who would like to participate, the only requirement is that you make the effort to attend the whole meeting.
